We knew it was happening, and now it has happened - Bungie and Activision have confirmed Destiny 2, the long expected, discussed, speculated about sequel to the original shared world shooter. Bungie confirmed Destiny 2 via a Twitter post, with some art and ‘Destiny 2’ splashed all over it.
As of right now, this is literally all that we have in the way of information- we don’t know the release date (though we can speculate), we don’t know the platforms (we can probably speculate...Today, 02:05 PM

Overwatch players have come across a new bug – yes, another one – and this one is actually pretty annoying, from the looks of it. This one usually happens to players in Control mode on several maps, and while it’s nothing more than a visual bugs (from the looks of it), people have regardless been noticing it, and complaining about it.
What essentially happens is that the hold percentage displayed on the top of the screen starts accelerating towards its cap at an alarming pace,...Yesterday, 01:12 PM

Quake Champions Will Be Free to Play With Paid OptionsId Software’s Quake Champions was revealed at Bethesda’s E3 2016 conference but we’ve only recently learned that it will be a free to play title. Those who want to pay in some form or fashion can do so though.
Speaking to GameSpot at PAX East, creative director Tim Willits said that players will have access to only one character, the Ranger, for free. Buying a Champion Pack will grant unlimited access to all characters though pricing is yet to be confirmed. Those playing for free have to spend in-game currency called Favour to access other characters. However, they will only be available to play for a certain length of time which id Software is still deciding on.
Willits further told Polygon that, “At its core, it’s a free-to-play game, with the option to buy the Champion Pack and just get in and play with all the Champions. There are a number of Quake players that just want to play their Quake, right? And they are familiar with the business model of our previous games, and they are totally fine. ‘I want to buy the game. I want to start playing. I want to have access to all the Champions.’
“But then we also understand that we want to get as many people into the game as possible, especially outside of North America and Western Europe, where we have a massive fan base. So we want to have the flexibility to have a free-to-play option for those people.”
All players, free to play and paid, will be playing together though and everyone has access to the same maps. Quake Champions is currently slated for release on PC. What are your thoughts on its consumer model? Let us know below.
