With the fate of Sony’s Wipeout series up in the air and Nintendo in seemingly no rush to bring Captain Falcon out of retirement, futuristic racing games are an endangered breed. Not content to leave this niche dead, Shin’en Multimedia provides their own take on the genre with Fast RMX, bringing a strong core from the Wii U and updating it for the new hardware.
If you’ve never tried a game like this, it truly is an experience unlike any other racing game. Vehicles hover inches...
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now out- and it is a sumptuous game, unlike truly anything that we have ever seen before. It is also a hard game- harder than any Zelda game in recent memory, harder than most AAA games, in fact. Taking a leaf out of Dark Souls and survival games, Breath of the Wild presents you with multiple scenarios where you can die.
One of these scenarios is in combat- when even regular enemies can take you out, bosses and the dreaded Guardians...09-03-2017, 05:34 PM
Comparison videos are starting to emerge between The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Nintendo Wii U and Switch. IGN and Arekkz Gaming already have their videos up which you can see below.
Though YouTube compression is responsible for hiding the differences in resolution, both versions look remarkably close to each other. There are some differences though and the Switch version does manage to come out on top visually, if only slightly.

There is little doubt that game critics have grown a bit stricter this generation. Higher scores aren’t handed out as frequently and freely as they used to- until today, the highest rated games of this generation were all tied at 93. Critics have, like critics in other media, started to use the whole 10 point scale, leading to a tendency of grade deflation.
This is largely a great thing- it means the games that do manage to, for instance, cross the 90 barrier on Metacritic, are...02-03-2017, 07:54 PM
Capcom has announced that its umpteenth re-release of Street Fighter 2, the classic fighting game that basically ended up spawning an entire genre in its wake, will be hitting the Nintendo Switch this May. Ultra Street Fighter 2 had been announced for Nintendo Switch beforehand, but we didn’t have a release date or price- now we have both.
Ultra Street Fighter 2 will cost $40, and will release on May 26. Capcom promises HD and Classic Graphics Modes, Arcade, Versus and Training...02-03-2017, 07:43 PM
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s reviews will be coming in later this week, but print media has already started to go and publish its reviews for the title. We already know that EDGE has given the game a historic 10/10 score – and now, the German magazine GamePro has shared its score for the game too. And it is almost unprecedented for them as well.
Breath of the Wild has scored a 94 from GamePro, which is the second highest score they have awarded to any game to date,...27-02-2017, 07:28 PM

Pokemon For Nintendo Switch Mentioned On Retailer WebsitePokemon for Nintendo Switch is a widely held expectation at this point- when Pokemon Sun/Moon had only just launched for the 3DS, reports of an enhanced version for the Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Stars, broke out. Since then, more and more evidence has pointed to Pokemon Stars for Nintendo Switch existing.
Now, there’s more fuel to add to the fire. Leading retailer of video games GameStop has added a product page for the Nintendo Switch, specifically referencing that Pokemon will be ‘playable at home’ via the new system. This seems to all but confirm that a new Pokemon game is coming to the Switch.
Whether or not that game will be announced this Thursday, though, is what remains to be seen. My assumption is that given that Pokemon Sun/Moon just launched, and that Nintendo probably wants to continue selling those games, Pokemon Stars will not be announced just yet- instead, I foresee an announcement for that game in the series’ traditional March-May announcement window. For now, Pokemon fans can play the excellent Pokemon Sun/Moon exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS.
