  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy DLC Trophy List Revealed
    Bald Bouncer
Vicarious Visions’ Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will have a number of Trophies when it releases but there will be a few more to come. A Trophy list revealed by Exophase indicates two extra Trophies that are part of something called the Lost Treasures DLC.

The Silver Trophy is The Crown Jewel where you must “seek and destroy” to obtain it. An Ancient Antiquity is the Gold Trophy and the description is “Do hard time”. What those could mean remains to be seen and neither...

  • Sony On Not Allowing Cross Platform Play
    Bald Bouncer
Sony’s backwards policies when it comes to cross platform play have been revealed over this week, as first Minecraft, and then Rocket League – and both substantially major games- have been announced to be getting full cross platform play between their PC, Xbox, and Switch versions, but the PS4 being excluded.

This happens because Sony won’t allow for cross platform play whatsoever, despite originally championing it, when it was clear Microsoft would never allow for it. In an...

  • You Can Play As Coco Through All Of Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
    Bald Bouncer
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy looks to be a loving remaster of the original trilogy of the PlayStation platformers, modernizing them for a new age of gamers who never played them, and for those who did and yearn to return to the games again. But it looks like developers Vicarious Vision and publisher Activision have managed to pack in some surprises for us still.

For instance, they have confirmed that you will be able to play through the entire trilogy, all three games, as Coco,...

  • Shenmue 3 Delayed to Second Half of 2018
    Bald Bouncer
If it weren’t bad enough that Ys Net’s Shenmue 3 would be missing E3 2017, creator Yu Suzuki announced in a new video message that the game has been delayed to the second half of 2018. The long-awaited sequel was originally meant to release by December 2017. At least, that was the delivered date on its Kickstarter campaign.

Suzuki said in the video that, “We unfortunately must delay its release. By utilizing new technologies we have been able to discover new possibilities and...

    Bald Bouncer
It’s been a long time coming, but it’s almost here - Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, the new action title from developers Ninja Theory, will be releasing this year, on August 8, for PC and PS4. The game, which was originally announced at Gamescom 2014, has been a very long wait- but at last, players will be able to play it.

The game’s story takes from Celtic and Norse mythologies, but also adds a psychological story into the mix. It will be tackling some sensitive psychological...

  • Analyst Skeptical Of 2018 PS5 Release Claims
    Bald Bouncer
We’ve heard some rumors claim that a PS5 is coming next year- the claim was made by an analyst, the very same who also successfully predicted the PS4 Slim’s debut alongside the PS4 Pro last year, which is why his word has been given any credence. But… doesn’t it make very little sense for Sony to launch a PS5 next year, two years after the PS4 Pro, five years after the PS4, and when the PS4 is doing so well for itself, too?

According to Michael Goodman, who is the director of...

  • PS4 Firmware 4.50 Lets You Deactivate Your Primary System Remotely

Sony’s handling of how multiple systems log into the same account is a bit convoluted on the PS4, but it’s largely fair. For the most part. There are still some issues, such as the inability to change your primary system associated with your account with anything other than the system that is primary to begin with, short of a once per six month option to force a logout from your account for all devices signed into it.

This has often led to issues for a lot of players who have found their accounts compromised, with no way to reclaim them. With the upcoming PS4 firmware update 4.50 however, it looks like Sony will finally let you change the primary system your account is associated with remotely, via another PS4 system. Doing this once leads to a 24 hour lock, which is significantly better than the six moth long waiting period you get for forcing a sign out. Other PS4 4.50 features include external hard drive support.
