Here at EA, we want to make sure our PlayStation 3 fans know that we’re listening. That’s why we we’ve created The MOH Experience, a series of uncut and unedited single-player and multiplayer videos put together to show our audience what they can expect when Medal of Honor launches on October 12th. In this third installment, titled “High Value Target,” we’re giving you a look at Medal of Honor’s multiplayer. The mode being played in the video is called Combat Mission. Coalition forces are tasked with clearing five consecutive objectives to win ...

Apple definitely surprised us this morning by relaxing its restrictions on third-party iOS development tools and publishing its app review guidelines, but that's nothing compared to the almost shockingly blunt tone of the guidelines themselves. We're still poring over them and we'll post highlights as we go, but grab the PDF for yourselves at the source link now and we'll do this thing together after the break. Okay, so while Apple's tone throughout the guidelines is extremely direct, the highlights definitely come from the introduction, where the company basically lays it down: ...

You're in luck -- EA Sports MMA will be available in limited demo form on September 28 for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The demo features Miller against fellow middleweight Jake Shields, along with current Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem against former WWE superstar Bobby Lashley, with both matches overseen by the great Big John McCarthy. ...

Who saw this coming? Apple has changed its stance on third party developer tools for iOS apps, now allowing any and all comers (which would obviously include Adobe CS5), "as long as the resulting apps do not download any code." Apple's also publishing its App Store Review Guidelines at long last, which will give developers a better idea of how their apps are going to be scrutinized by Apple before they submit them. We're sure we'll be hearing plenty in the coming weeks as developers and arm chair analysts rifle through Apple's so-far-secretive guidelines, but mostly we're ...

Following on from Sony’s hasty PS3 firmware update to 3.42 yesterday, we told you how there wasn’t any initial problems following the update – until now. We’ve received a barrage of messages from our readers stating that 3.42 is causing them problems. Just like v3.41, the new update doesn’t seem to be causing everyone problems, just a select few, which means that nothing is likely to be done about it, and Sony will refuse to acknowledge the problems unless it turns into a widespread issue. In extreme cases, we’ve heard reports that 3.42 is crashing consoles ...

So let's see, how long has iOS 4.1 been out in the open for public consumption? We make it less than 24 hours, yet already some earnest jail busters have managed to liberate it from Apple's control freak clutches. It's still a fair distance away from an easily executable jailbreak, but it's looking like it'll work on iPhone 4, the latest-gen iPod touch, and the iPad, covering all the freshest bases of Apple hardware. Now it's just a matter of waiting it out. ...

Apple has launched multiplayer gaming service Game Centre as part of its 4.1 iOS update. The social gaming network offers features including achievements, leaderboards, online multiplayer and auto matchmaking. It doesn’t currently work with original iPhones and first generation iPod Touches, but supports all newer models. It's also expected to launch for iPad in November. "Game Centre is all about multiplayer games," Apple CEO Steve Jobs said last week. "It allows you to challenge your friends to games, and they can challenge you. If you don't have any friends it will automatically match you. It will allow you to compare ...

Nintendo has released new firmware updates for DSi and Wii that reportedly disable the use of a number of flash carts and software modifications. The company said that Nintendo DSi Menu Ver 1.4.1U “provides behind-the-scenes improvements to system performance”, but GBATemp.net forum posters claim that homebrew-enabling flash carts like Supercard DSTwo, Acekard 2i, M3i Zero and iPlayer no longer work post-update. ...

While PS3 owners are already enjoying the demo for Tecmo Koei's Quantum Theory, it looks like the denizens of Xbox Live will have to wait a little longer. Unfortunately, we don't have a solid date for the demo's Xbox debut, with an official announcement saying simply that it will arrive "later this month." Don't worry about it too much though, we're sure you'll find something to keep you busy for the rest of the month. ...

Tucked away in this morning's press release revealing the 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle was news that, at this year's Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft will be showing off new Kinect games. The release says that the company will unveil "even more new controller-free games and experiences never before possible," without making any mention of the Microsoft-hosted keynote or the recently announced brain game from Dr. Kawashima and Namco. ...

Here's the thing: we refuse to watch this video. Sorry, guys, but Halo: Reach is a little less than a week away and we want to go into it fresh. Still, not everyone has the same desire to remain pure, so for those of you chomping at the bit for more Reach stuff, head on past the break for a video walkthrough of "Tip of the Spear." If you need us, we'll have our fingers firmly planted in our ears, shouting "la-la-la-la-la-la-we-can't-hear-you!" ...

Space Invaders: Infinity Gene is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 next week, on September 14 and 15, respectively. Although based on the iPhone version of the game, the HD presentation and the much-needed ability to use a gamepad makes it a worthwhile upgrade over the iPhone version. It's far easier to pull off combos, powered by consecutive shots, with a controller -- especially when you're able to see your ship (instead of your thumb). For those unfamiliar with the game, the concept centers around the evolution of the shooter. ...

If you can just put down Angry Birds for one minute and plug your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod touch 3rd generation, or iPod touch 4th generation into iTunes, you should be in for a pleasant non-surprise: iOS 4.1 is finally out and ready for your consumption. It's not a huge update, but Game Center is an exciting addition (for the few, proud devices that are getting it), and we're sure your face will be happy to stop getting accused for iPhone 4 hang-ups with the long overdue proximity sensor fix ...

Apple's sixth generation of the iPod nano is essentially the first complete rethinking the product has had since its debut in 2005. The previous form factor -- slim and light with a decently sized display and clickwheel -- has been all but abandoned. The new design is a complete departure; a full touchscreen device that brings to mind something more like a large, living postage stamp than a portable music player. Along with the radical hardware redesign, Apple has infused the media player with a brand new operating system as well ...

Just when you thought you couldn't train your brain any more, Dr. Ryuta Kawashima – the Tokyo University-based professor who turned "brain training" into a video game hit with Nintendo's Brain Age series – is bringing his particular brand of supposed self-improvement to Microsoft's Kinect this November. Instead of using the DS stylus, Karada de Kotareu Atarashii Nou-tore (or "Respond With Your Body: New Brain Training," as translated by Andriasang) tasks one to four players with moving their body to solve problems. For example: Align your arms ...

"Mr. NBA 2K11" is still noticeably absent from NBA Jam's Eastern Conference roster, which does boast the likes of Bird, Dr. J and Jordan sidekick Scottie Pippen. Even Drazen Petrovic, who is said to haunt the original arcade game and was removed from console versions following his death in a car accident, has been resurrected as a Nets legend. Of course, the new NBA Jam will feature plenty of current players, including the Miami Thrice, when it's released next month for Wii and as a downloadable bonus with new copies of NBA Elite 11 for Xbox 360 and PS3. ...
