  • Metal Gear Survive Is Still Due For A 2017 Release, Konami Confirms

Konami appears to be determined to stick around in the AAA gaming market in spite of renouncing it a few years ago, albeit in a reduced capacity- maybe the success of their games like Super Bomberman R has something to do with that. Later this year, the company will be releasing the next instalment in the Metal Gear franchise, the game that no one asked for- Metal Gear Survive.

Metal Gear Survive is a co-op zombie shooter made on the FOX Engine, which means it is everything that...

  • For Honor Patch 1.08 Adding Dead Zone Settings for Controllers, Fixes Soft Feints

A new patch will be going live for Ubisoft’s For Honor on May 16th and adds a ton of balance changes for its heroes. More importantly, however, it allows players on consoles to customize the stick dead zones on their controllers. This mostly applies to the right stick, used for switching guard mode, and has a default value of 10 to start with.

Then there are the “soft feints”, which essentially allows players to cancel Guard Breaks or Light attacks by triggering another Guard...

  • Overwatch Anniversary Event Seemingly Confirmed, PTR Closing Sooon

Details have been rather non-existent about Blizzard’s next event for Overwatch. All we have are rumours stating than an anniversary event is happening on May 24th with skins for Reaper, Tracer and Sombra in-bound.

Interestingly, when asked about the event on Twitter, Blizzard said that there are, “No timing details yet.” Which seems to confirm that the anniversary event is indeed real. After all, when the developer playfully jokes, it playfully jokes. This doesn’t appear...

  • Get Even New Trailer Sees You Visiting An Odd Tea Party

Bandai Namco’s upcoming surreal horror game Get Even just got a brand new trailer today, showcasing something completely odd- a tea party that the game’s protagonist Cole Black finds himself visiting. Well, calling it a tea party may be a bit of a stretch, since it seems rather that he is in the company of a fellow recalling the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Who is incidentally drinking tea.

Of course, the trailer is cryptic, and we don’t get any more to go...

  • Far Cry 5 Set in Montana, No Evidence of Wild West Setting – Rumor

Leaks can be pretty outrageous these days. A recent off-screen image showcased Assassin’s Creed: Origins and its Egypt setting. There’s a current rumour going around that this is from Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the rumour that Far Cry 5 – which apparently exists – will be set in the Wild West has to be the weirdest.

Which is why noted Kotaku writer and leaker Jason Schreier chimed in on NeoGAF to offer his take. He first said that, “Since my name has been attached to this...

  • Heroes of the Storm Video Highlights Overwatch Hero D.Va

Overwatch’s D.Va is the newest hero to arrive in Blizzard’s free to play MOBA Heroes of the Storm. What can she do? As it turns out in a new video, quite a bit. D.Va can fight in two different modes – Mech and Pilot – and much like Overwatch, she has the ability to self-destruct. After this, D.Va can call her mech down again. Attacking enemies will reduce the cooldown on self-destruct and her mech, much like in the hero shooter. Unfortunately, like in Overwatch, D.Va’s overall tankiness...

Far Cry 5 May Be A Spaghetti Western- Rumor

Red Dead Redemption 2 may not be the only game in town this year as far as westerns go - according to WCCFTech, the next Far Cry game may also decide to take a detour into the past and deliver an open world western game. What’s more, it may be due out this year, too.

There is a fair bit of evidence pointing this way- website Great Falls Tribune reported that a local church will be featured in a blockbuster game in a world famous franchise that is due out later this year. Kotaku’s...

  • Call of Duty WW2: Sledgehammer Talks About Multiplayer Weapons, Will Include Classics

Call of Duty: World War 2 is going to be a significant entry in the first person shooter series for a lot of reasons, but the one that comes to mind more than most is the fact that this is the game that brings Call of Duty back to its World War II roots, back where the series first made a name for itself. And obviously, having just delved into the sci-fi genre with the likes of Advanced Warfare and Infinite Warfare, WWII is going to a be a bit of a culture shock for some players. • Star Wars Battlefront 2: Dev Explains How They Are Adding Depth

Star Wars: Battlefront II looks excellent for a number of reasons, chief among them being the fact that it expands on the original in every single way. To be very fair, though, that isn’t really a big feat, considering how light on content 2015’s Battlefront was. And it looks like developers DICE feel the same way.

Recently, in an interview with with PlayStation Lifestyle, DICE’s creative director Bernd Diemer was asked about what areas DICE felt were lacking in Battlefront...

  • Overwatch’s Junkrat Suffering From Bug, Reduces Ultimate Move To 99%

Overwatch and all of its millions of players are no strangers to bugs and glitches. And what do you know, we have anther one to talk about. This time, the bug is centered on the character of Junkrat as well as his ultimate power. As reported by Reddit user Xop, this happens mostly on the Public Test Region, where if you activate Junkrat’s rip-tire while standing next to or in front of an object, the game bugs out and cuts down his Ultimate to 99 per cent.

    Here’s the bug in...

  • Destiny 2 Will Have “Continuous Calendar of Events”, “Meaningful Features” for PC

Darksiders 3 Gets New Gameplay Video

Darksiders 3 has a surprising amount of hype and attention around it, given that the original two games kind of flew under the radar (as awesome as they were). Not that I’m complaining! I love the series, and the more people that learn about it and get into it, the happier I will be.

IGN shared a video that debuts gameplay for the game for the very first time. You can check that out for yourself below, too- does it live up to what you were expecting? Make sure to let...

  • Battlefield 1 Russian Army Details To Be Shared At E3 Next Month

Battlefield 1, when it launched last year, only had the British and American armies as playable- which was a total and complete bummer, since the Russians and French were equally important to the Allies’ efforts during the First World War, if not more so. The French were ultimately added in the Battlefield expansion They Shall Not Pass. Now the Russians will be added too, in In The Tsar’s Name. And we will be learning more about that at E3 next month.

“On June 10, EA PLAY 2017...

This means a softer image overall but it was noted that the build being played was a “master”. While as close to complete as one can get, it’s still not the final version and it’s possible that the overall quality is improved by the time Tekken 7 launches.
